Everyone has to get old. We don't all have to do it in style. We began the day bright and early at Kennedy Golf Course for a little rowdy drunken golfing. Here we have Micah, Brando, Doug, John, Quin, Keith, and myself posing for a shot before the game.
Practicing Up
We hit some balls on the driving range and found that the harder and farther we tried to get the ball to go, the more pathetic our shots became.
Let the games begin
It's a good thing we selected a mild par 3 course to play on. Anything else would have gotten us kicked off for sure. We are all some seriously bad golfers. Brando demonstrates poor posture and form in this tee-off shot. When Brando opened his golf bag we were able to locate a woman's pair of thong underwear. Brando swore he had stashed them in his golf bag to hide them from his girlfriend at the time, but we had our reservations on taking his story at face value.
Ladies Thong?
The new rule became whomever hit the worst shot off the tee had to wear the underwear for the rest of the hole. Here I am wearing the enigmatic pair of undergarments after a particularly poor shot.
Golfing Kobbie Style
Here's Kobbie teeing off with a smooth drinking Coors light in hand. Nothing goes better with being on your feet walking around in the heat than a beer or two.
Play it where it lies
Poor Micah. He kept having such bad shots, and we made him play the shots no matter what. Whether it be from under a large tree or from this puddle, Micah took every shot like a champ.
Beer Lady
When the beer lady came, Brando was instantly attracted to her and wanted to put on a good show. The big problem was that he was wearing the thong at the time. As she approached he tried to subtly take the underwear off but tripped on them with only one leg out and fell to the ground in front of her instead, dropping his golf bag full of clubs in the process. When she left, she informed him that he could now put the underwear back on.
Watching the Avs Game
After golfing, we headed back to Doug's and watched the Avs game and had a BBQ. As the afternoon progressed more and more people showed up and the event migrated to Doug's balcony.
BBQ Party
It was nice to see so many friends old and new at the party. We BBQ'ed and hung around for the remainder of the afternoon together. Here are some highlights:

Everyone has a special dance move. For Brando, it is the spin move. Here Brando demonstrates the spin move in top shelf fashion.
Getting Crazy
Daryl a.k.a. "D-Mo" and Micah a.k.a. "Floyd" show that there is more than just serious intellectual conversation to thier demenure.
Micah does the Robot Dance
Micah is famous for his robot dance. Here is a demonstration that would have even Michael Jackson looking for the off switch on the robot.
Carie gets a navel ring
During the evening Carie consumed enough alcohol that she decided it would be a good idea to get her navel pierced. Here is a before and after look at what happened.
Rest of the evening
We spent the rest of the evening socializing and BBQing.
Time to go out
Eventually it was time to go out on the town. We headed out to the Rio in Downtown Denver and then headed out to the clubs after that. All and all a successfull birthday event.
